New Airline Caters to PAWsengers

Wish there was a better way to transport your pet when you want to vacation or need to move? Well, there is... Pet Airways — the only “pet-dedicated” airline. They specialize in transporting Fido, Mittens or your other pets to a variety of destinations in a way that is comfortable, safe and simple.

Pets fly in the main cabin, not in the cargo hold. A trained pet attendant monitors the animals, and ensures there is plenty of fresh, cool air at all times. Pet carriers are provided free of charge. Animals are picked up directly at a specific gate (Pet Lounge drop off) and boarded so they are never left in a warehouse or on a ramp.

Animals get potty breaks throughout the trip, and pet attendants ensure carriers are secure and that your pet is healthy throughout the duration of the flight. Once at the arrival destination, pets are available for pick up in the Pet Lounge. If your flight is delayed, attendants provide them with walks, food or fresh air as needed, and will stay with your pet until you arrive. Pets can also stay at the PAWS lodge if their owners are not arriving until the next day.

Flights start at $149, with a variety of destinations available. They even have an online flight tracker so you can monitor where your pet is at any given point during the trip.
